SSA Annual Exhibition at the RSA

22nd December - 30th January 2020.  The SSA Annual Exhibition showcases a careful selection representing the diversity of current Scottish and International art.   The Society's courageous selection has made it often the first to acknowlege the most promising, indeed, the SSA was the first to show Picasso in Scotland and provides an important forum for fresh talent, showing Douglas Gordon, winner of the 1996 Turner Prize, early in his career.

We at Ramsay Cornish are delighted to support a society which against all odds remains artist led and run with an enthusiasm and drive that overcomes the continual funding difficulties faced so often by society's who do not fit into an obvious funding 'package'.  Last year we gave our prize to Doug Mackie for his silently haunting installation (pictured).

Please do take the time to visit this year's exhibition.
